Graham Green Centenary Celebration

To honour the centenary of the birth of Graham Greene, the distinguished novelist and writer who lived for the last years of his life in the village of Corseaux, above Vevey, and is buried there, the Swiss Global Artistic Foundation organised ceremonies at the graveside and in the village.

In attendance were members of the diplomatic corps, Swiss governmental cultural officials, local dignitaries and many Friends of the Foundation.

A visit to the Graham Greene Trail in the adjacent vineyards was guided by David Delapraz, president of the Corseaux Winegrowers' Association. The Association produced a special wine vintage in honour of the author.

Michael Green, Public Relations Advisor of Swiss Global, gave a talk on Graham Greene's long and productive creative career.
