New Exhibition at Hermitage Foundation Features 100 Masterworks

Called "100 Masterworks from the Städel Museum" it is a remarkable panorama of 19th and early 20th century artworks from the the Museum in Frankfurt, the oldest private art foundation in Germany. Among the many artists represented, along with Tischbein's iconic portrait of Goethe in Italy, are Monet, Corot, Degas, Courbet, Cezanne, Sisley, Renoir, Van Gogh, Caspar David Friedrich, Picasso, Munch, Klee, Franz Marc and a wide selection of less well known but outstanding German artists.

The exhibition runs till May 24.

The Swiss Global Artistic Foundation is again planning to organise some musical events in collaboration with the Hermitage Foundation during the course of this year. The Director of the Hermitage, Juliane Cosandier, is a member of Swiss Global's Advisory Board.
