Arts Global Artist Eric Silbert stars in a new work in Key West

ABOUT WENDY TAUCHER DANCE OPERA THEATER: 

Wendy Taucher Dance Opera Theater performs regularly in New York City with an annual summer residency on Martha's Vineyard. Recent tours include performances in Boston, Nantucket and Key West. Ms. Taucher's eclectic career includes individual Fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and Jacob's Pillow for her concert dance choreography, award winning directing and choreographing for theater and opera companies around the country, collaborating with Blues Brothers Approved Ventures and Carly Simon and staging events at Chicago's State Street Christmas Parade and the St. Paul Winter Carnival.

ABOUT ERIC SILBERGER
Virtuoso violinist Eric Silberger is a prize-winner in the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition and the Michael Hill International Violin Competition in 2011. His performances have been described by critics as "spine-tingling...astonishing" (The Guardian), "dazzling virtuoso playing" (The Washington Post), "impeccable level of playing, a wonderful musician" (Heather Kurzbauer, The Strad), and " ....he has got everything in his favour, technique, composure and personality. We are on the eve of a great soloist" (El Pais, Spain). Mr. Silberger holds the distinguished position of an Arts Global Artist and plays a rare J.B. Guadagnini violin from 1757 on generous loan from the Sau-Wing Lam collection.
