Bernard Schmid is a director of the Lausanne branch of Notenstein Bank. He specializes in developing customized wealth management and financial planning solutions for private clients - based in Switzerland and abroad - who value sincere, personal and tailor-made advice with a long-term and confidential approach.

He began his career at Credit Suisse in Lausanne, before moving to Zurich. After a sabbatical year spent exploring South America, he held various senior positions within leading companies of the Swiss private banking industry before joining Notenstein.

Born in Montreux, Switzerland, Mr Schmid is a Swiss-certified banking expert, having studied at the University of Applied Science in Fribourg for his Executive MBA in Integrated Management.
