Egon Vorfeld

Biography

Egon Vorfeld is a Dutch citizen born in 1966, who lives in Geneva with his British wife and two children. He was educated in the Netherlands, Switzerland and England and has close to 20 years of experience in finance. He holds a MSc in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (UK).

Mr Vorfeld is a managing partner of The Forum Finance Group (FFG), a Geneva based company founded in 1994, that provides comprehensive wealth management services to a global clientele. FFG ranks amongst the top 15% of independent asset managers in Switzerland and is 100% owned by its three managing partners. He started his career as a senior investment banker with Cazenove & Co. and Crédit Lyonnais in London, before creating an independent asset management business in Geneva in 2000, which he merged with The Forum Finance Group in June 2009.

He has served on various corporate boards and currently sits on the board of governors of his alma mater: Aiglon College in Villars, Switzerland.

Mr Vorfeld became a member of the Swiss Global Artistic Foundation in 2002, and has been an enthusiastic supporter ever since.
