Michaël Bialobroda cello

Biography

The French cellist, Michaël Bialobroda, is from a musical family and is based in Paris.

He has been a concerto soloist with l’Orchestre de l’Académie Internationale de Cervo, l’Orchestre de Chambre de la Nouvelle Europe, Paris Conservatoire Orchestra and l’Orchestre Philharmonique de L’Oise.

He was winner of the Special Prize at the Antonio Janigro cello competition and is a laureate of the International Competition of the Festival d’Automne des Jeunes Interpretes.

Mr Bialobroda has been principal cellist with the Verbier Festival Orchestra and Paris Conservatoire Orchestra. Has played with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio-France, Verbier Chamber Orchestra and Orfeo 55. He has recently been appointed Solo and Principal Cello with the Orchestre National de Lorraine.

He has completed the Master’s program of the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris. His teachers have included Gautier Capuçon, Marc Coppey, Miguel Da Silva, Xavier Gagnepain, Gary Hoffman, Philippe Muller, Gustav Rivinius, Jerôme Pernoo, François Salque, Janos Starker, Michel Strauss, Troels Svane, Torleif Thedeen, Richard Young.

He is presently playing on Arts Global's fine Giovanni Grancino cello (Milan, 1700).
